The metal was heavier and appeared better quality than I was expecting. These are actually 9 1/4 inches long, so if replacing more than one on an axle, it might take a little tinkering to get things to line up. The seams where the parts are cast are kind of rough, so be prepared to grind and smooth those out so they don't lock up in the bearing housing when everything is torqued back down. Still putting things back together on a disc rebuild, but they appear as if they are going to work as a replacement for the old Dearborn type friction bearings.
